A flashlight, not a verdict

The product

You may paste a public Solana address and receive an on-demand exposure report, or call POST /api/scan with the same input. The basic scan is free and unauthenticated. Limits (last 100 signatures, public RPC courtesy) are part of the product, not a hidden clause. Intended later paid APIs are ordinary software billing — there is no ZK VEIL token.

Public data only

Everything in a report is derived from cluster-public RPC. We do not grant you extra visibility into anyone’s wallet. We also do not hide the fact that you asked: scan URLs contain the address. Read Privacy.

No warranty

Reports can be incomplete when RPC withholds bodies, when a program is missing from the catalog, or when jsonParsed does not decode an instruction. Scores are heuristics. Findings can be wrong in emphasis even when the underlying signature is real. Verify evidence on an explorer before you act.

The service may be rate-limited, mid-deploy, or unavailable. The sample report at /scan/demo is a fixture, not live chain state.

Acceptable use

Use the scanner to understand public fields, to debug your own programs, or to learn why transparent ledgers are not private by default. Do not use it to harass, stalk, extort, or impersonate. Do not present a VEIL Scan page as a government identity match or as a Zcash-branded tool. Do not wrap a wallet connect prompt around this interface and call it ZK VEIL.

Not professional advice

Nothing here is legal, compliance, investment, or security-audit advice. Shielded-payment commentary is educational. Operational hygiene (empty memos, quieter logs, split keys) is not a substitute for a protocol that hides value transfer.
